With the support of the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency (EIS), AS Green Marine is carrying out the project “Development of waste management software to implement the requirements of the national waste information system PISTRIK on real-time economy principles”, funded under the measure for supporting the development of data-based reporting and data exchange software together with the public sector.

Project period: 10.07.2026 – 10.04.2027
Grant amount: 49,193.25 euros

The aim of the project is to digitalise Green Marine’s core waste management processes – digital consignment notes, the treatment process and waste reporting – on real-time economy (RTE) principles, ensuring a standardised, machine-readable and maximally automated flow of data between the company’s information systems and the national waste information system PISTRIK. The project focuses on digitalising and automating critical workflows in order to be ready for the requirements that take effect on 1 January 2027, including the real-time transmission of digital consignment notes.

The project will create the preconditions for meeting regulatory requirements, entering data only once, automating processes and further developing an end-to-end digital supply chain. It will increase the organisation’s efficiency, improve cooperation with partners and build the capability to make decisions based on real-time data. Data quality, reliability and transparency will also improve across the whole value chain.

The project contributes directly to the objectives of the Digital Society Development Plan 2030 by supporting the transition from a reporting-based model to event-based and data-driven governance.
